Endodontics

What is Endodontics?

At Avondale Dentistry, we deal with many different types of issues relating to our patients’ oral health. Endodontics is the branch of dentistry concerning dental pulp and tissues surrounding the roots of a tooth. Endodontic treatment and procedures are typically known as “root canal treatment” and relate to the soft tissue/pulp of the tooth. Our practice is trained in the area of endodontics, and we help provide options to save our patient’s natural teeth.

How Is Endodontics Different Than Regular Dentistry?

Our practice is lucky to be able to have such an experienced specialist like Dr. William Cummings to work intently on saving your tooth or teeth. Through the combination of advanced technology and innovative procedures and techniques, our team is ready to help you restore your smile to its natural radiance and function. Dr. William Cummings’s goal is to always first and foremost save your natural teeth. By saving your natural tooth, your smile and overall mouth will be able to function naturally and as intended–without any of the potential issues of false teeth or implants. Nothing looks, feels or functions like your natural tooth!
